After Breakfast, you will arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha.
It
is 71 meters high, with ears as long as 7 meters, the backs of its feet
as wide as 8.5 meters, and even its little fingernails are higher than
those of a normal person. This giant Buddha was built in 713 A.D., and
is a symbol of the ancient people's prayers for peace and prosperity,
and protects boatmen from the dangers of the rapids.
You can start from the hill next to
the Giant Buddha and climb up to the head of the Buddha to see it up
close, then walk down the stone steps to the foot of the Buddha to enjoy
the full view of it.(Please note that you may have to queue if you visit the Big Buddha during peak hours.)
After visiting the Giant Buddha, you can drive for about 45 minutes to the largest temple at the foot of Mount Emei,the Baoguo Temple.
Optional Activities
You can enjoy an amazing 30-minute
boat ride. The boat will take you to the front of the Giant Buddha to
enjoy the wonderful panoramic view.
